1.Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

2.The Service & credits

SquidFace runs on a Credit system. Generating content (image, video, music, voice, avatar, and related tools) consumes Credits at the rates shown in the app. Plans and top-up packs are described on the Plans page. Plan Credits refresh each billing cycle; unused Credits expire at the end of the cycle unless the plan states otherwise. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

3.Payments, billing & renewals

• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Prices are shown before you purchase — in INR (₹) for customers in India and USD ($) elsewhere — and include applicable taxes where required.
• By purchasing, you authorise us and Razorpay to charge your selected payment method for the plan or top-up you choose.
• Where a plan is set to auto-renew, it renews for the same period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel renewal at any time before the next billing date from your account or by contacting us.
• Receipts and invoices are emailed from invoice@squidface.ai.
• We may change prices or Credit rates going forward; changes never apply retroactively to Credits or plan periods you have already purchased.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or share content that:

• is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or incites violence;
• sexualises minors, or depicts non-consensual or extreme sexual content;
• impersonates a real person or creates a deceptive "deepfake" of someone without their consent, or is intended to defraud, mislead, or spread disinformation;
• infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights of others;
• contains malware, or attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• violates any applicable law or the terms of the third-party AI providers that power the Service.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

6.Your content & ownership

• You retain ownership of the material you upload ("Input"). Subject to these Terms and your active plan, you own the outputs you generate ("Output") and may use them personally or commercially.
• You grant SquidFace a limited licence to host, process, and display your Input and Output solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any Input you provide (e.g. a photo or voice used for an avatar or voice clone).
• AI Output can be similar to results generated for other users and may not be eligible for copyright protection in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for how you use it.

7.AI-generated content & third-party services

The Service uses third-party AI models and infrastructure to generate content. Output is produced automatically and may be inaccurate, offensive, or unexpected — review it before relying on or publishing it. Your use of features powered by third-party providers is also subject to their respective terms and acceptable-use policies. Content generated on the free tier may include a SquidFace watermark; removing or obscuring watermarks or provenance markers is not permitted.

8.Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SquidFace and Mililora Pvt Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SquidFace, Mililora Pvt Ltd, and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your Input, your Output, or your breach of these Terms.

11.Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm other users, third parties, or us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, refunds) will remain in effect.

12.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

13.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts at the registered office of Mililora Pvt Ltd in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
